update.
so i think this shall be one of the few updates until after exams.
wednesday 28 april.
crazy morning.
was almost late to dispensing shift at UME, but got there on time at 8.15am.
however.... nancy who was to see a patient, came late by TWO minutes, and Amal being the mean person she is, kicked her out and said she couldnt see her patient who had not even arrived (appointment at 8.30am). her supervisor was also yet to arrive. so then Amal told me to stop what i was doing and get my equipment such that I had to see Nancy's patient instead.
Athea who was supposed to be doing dispensing shift with me didnt even show up -.-
so once i had finished seeing nancy's patient as well as an emergency red eye patient (aka Dr Pianta) i had to continue with dispensing.. and didnt get out til 1.40pm.
rahhhh. and then lectures til 4.15pm.
friday 30 april
patient at ACO.
had Nilmini as my supervisor again, and spotted SOPHIE KOH in the corridors xD
diabetic 74yo with, as Nilmini put it, 'pedophile glasses' who hadnt had an eyecheck in 10years.
nothing much, except that I scratched his cornea while doing tonometry and so couldnt get a view using fundus lens.
saturday 1st may
the srhwongy 21.
finalising and collating everyones ppt slides for speechies. headed to dockies to help set up. Li's cotton on shoes. helium balloooooons + awesome photobooth :D then headed back to let jono into his apartment and collect jane. catching the tram despite pathetic attempt at running in heels. 7/11 'dinner'. reached. cbb mingling. vodka sunrises. massive cake. coconut house at 2.30am. slept at 4.
sunday 2nd may
la porchetta lunch. visit mong at OPSM. vic market salmon + safeway for groceries. cooked panfried salmon + pasta for dinner (y). conked out. so braindead and sleep deprived.
monday 3rd may
forgot clinical clothes to bus back home and wasted entire morning on public transport -.-
lectures til 5.30. fast dinner at Menya. MOVSS trivia night where we didnt place, but the other fourth year table came first which is yay as our year still holds the title (y)
so yes. lack of study for FOUR DAYS D:
severely need to catch up.
lecturer even told us our workload was equivalent to that of a med student.
i fully agree. its suffocatingly crazy.
but.. we got our second portfolio back and yay 9/10 again :)
exam timetable out.
and surprise surprise we finish on the last day again.
lame much.
but still dunno when the oral exam and third slide exam is to be held.
so atm...
